Irondequoit Country Club

The new patio area was transformed into a pleasant courtyard that evokes the ambiance of a first class country club.

When Irondequoit Country Club decided to implement a renovation project, the Club selected Parrone Engineering as its prime consultant. The improvements included designing a new courtyard and patio area and re-directing golf cart and pedestrian traffic on the pathways. As part of the renovation project, Parrone Engineering and its design team had to wok with various constraints and challenges. These included addressing the numerous handicap accessible issues in the clubhouse and surrounding grounds and enhancing the landscaping design to represent the premier course surroundings.

What was previously a very tight and unsafe exterior area for the golfers and pool-goers was transformed into a pleasant courtyard that evokes the ambiance of a first class country club. In addition, the entire surrounding area was made handicap accessible and cart paths we realigned in order to dramatically improve golf cart flow. These unique renovations were accomplished through the use of special grading, landscaping, decorative walls, and extraordinary site LED lighting.
